John W. Love, Sr. has been committed to and playing the game of golf for more than 55 years. A gifted historian and storyteller, Love educates others on the legacy, contributions and incredible feats of Black golfers from as far back as the late 1890’s. Lauded for his leadership and being an extraordinary Tournament Director, Love is a long-time member of the Par Busters Golf Group of Charlotte, NC. In 1997, Love was inducted into the Black Golf Hall of Fame for Long-Time Commitment and Service to Golf Administration.
